The US Welder Policies
Our offices are open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST. On-line ordering is available 24 hours a day through our website at www.TheUSWelder.com. Orders received outside of normal office hours will be processed on the next business day.
Orders may be placed on-line via electronic commerce with a valid MasterCard, Visa, or Discover card. All credit card orders are subject to approval by the issuing entity. Orders may also be placed via phone at 937-475-2889.
First time orders need to include the following information:
Business Name, Contact Name, Address, Phone
We do not require minimum orders. However, manufacturer packaging may dictate specific quantity purchases.
Orders placed by Noon EST are shipped same day if possible. All other orders are shipped the next business day. Orders are shipped via common carrier freight prepaid unless otherwise noted. UPS or FedEx ground service for hazardous materials will include a $13.00 charge for each package requiring US Department of Transportation shipping papers.
A minimum handling fee of $3.00 will apply to all orders. Additional handling charges of up to $4.00 may apply to items requiring special packaging prior to shipment. (items not in a shipping carton, packages 60 inches in length or more, items encased in wood or metal shipping containers)
All freight terms apply to shipments within the 48 contiguous United States, via common carrier. If special routing or expedited transportation is required, the total expense will be the responsibility of the customer. Items that are exceptions to the above freight policy include but may not be limited to: nails, floor sweep, oil-dry, large machinery or items requiring special packaging. These items will be quoted FOB factory.
We do not require minimum quantity or dollar amounts for orders. In some instances it may be necessary for a customer to purchase an item in case packaging for shipping purposes.
All returns are handled on a case by case basis. The customer must initiate the return by contacting us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and include a complete description of the reason for the return and the merchandise affected. Returns will not be accepted without a RA number, which will be provided after receipt of appropriate documentation. Merchandise must be in original factory package and be in new, resaleable condition. Special ordered items cannot be returned without factory approval, and the factory restocking policy will apply. Authorized returns must be shipped prepaid. Returns will not be accepted for improper handling, misuse of the item, or for merchandise not purchased from our stores. Return of non-defective merchandise will be assessed a 20% restocking fee.
The manufacturer's warranties apply to all materials. No other warranty, expressed or implied is offered. Warranty returns must be handled as outlined above.
